A series of sculptures, meant to be touched and observed closely, impressed with ancestral cultural objects from my family. But the lace, crochet, herbs, jewelry and other items that make a physical connection to my ancestors might be from your family as well. What things did they carry when they left the lands where they were born, displaced, fleeing poverty or war?
