Woman2Woman

Very excited about this new collaborative project!  Susan Aurinko, renowned photographer and F8 member, and I engaged fellow photographers from F8 and Women In Focus to join together to present photography workshops to the residents of Leslie's Place.  Leslie's Place offers formerly incarcerated women a place to transition back to their communities.  http://www.lesliesplace.org  As women reaching out to other women, we offer a new way to create, express your feelings, and show yourself to the world through your photographs. The participants use cameras of all kinds, cellphone, point and shoot, and DSLR.  In the first photo, participants share a portrait shot on a cellphone.  Photographers Karen Egerer, Annette Nieves and Adeline Sides join me and Susan Aurinko after the first workshop, all smiles from the morning we spent with the wonderful women at Leslie's Place.  Please stay tuned for an upcoming exhibition of the photographs of Woman2Woman.
